The Torngat Secretariat serves the Torngat Joint Fisheries Board and the Torngat Wildlife and Plants Co-Management Board and is operational out of Happy Valley-Goose Bay. Both entities are Institutions of Public Government created from the 2005 Labrador Inuit Land Claims Agreement.

The Torngat Secretariat has six positions: Executive Director, Executive Assistant, Finance and Administrative Officer, Policy Analyst, Wildlife and Plants Research Program Manager and Fisheries Research Program Manager.
